Lawyers offices

London EC1
2001
-

This project entailed the refurbishment of the ground floor of a 1980s speculative office building and its conversion to the public parts of a medium sized soliicitors' practice. The spaces include reception, waiting and conference facilities. They were intended to convey both the traditional discretion and privacy expected of a well respected long established lawyers, and the innovatory side of the company which supports new technological industries. A glazed and solid ash framed bespoke partition system was developed to enclose rooms, the main conference room incorporating the latest projection systems. The reception desk which forms an almost room like enclosure is polished stainless steel and walnut – materials which have a richness and longevity.
